The Great Reveal!

Today I had the honor of having the cover of my debut novel revealed by LGBTQ Reads and seeing my book on not only Amazon but also Barnes & Noble. Writing and publishing a novel has been a long standing dream of mine and seeing it become a reality is awe-inspiring!

I started writing this novel in the times before Covid but abruptly stopped when the pandemic hit and I needed to prioritize my work as a paramedic. I told myself that it was fine to simply be an avid reader but that all changed when I met Aoibh Wood. Her debut novel, Blood Rituals, spoke to me so loudly that I felt compelled to reach out to the author and express how deeply I enjoyed her work.

When we finally met for coffee to chat about her work and books in general, she kindly listened as I babbled on about my idea for a story. She told me about her busy professional and personal life and suddenly, writing a book didn't seem so impossible anymore. We stayed in touch and her constant encouragement and tips of the trade helped me make my dream a reality.
